The Secret Circle is a fascinating, mysteriously exciting series about six teenagers who are of witches' bloodlines living in the imaginary town of Chance Harbor.
Sixteen-year old Cassie Blake, the heroine of this series, returned to Chance Harbor to live with her grandmother Jane Blake after her mother, Amelia, died in a fire set by another witch Charles Meade (Diana's father, who will be introduced in the following entries).
She tried to live normally and blend with the people in the small town as she met some teenagers who seem to be interested in making friends. To her surprise most of the townspeople know her and her mother and that there's a history about the place. Adam Conant, Diana Meade, Faye Chamberlain, Melissa Glaser and Nick Armstrong whose parents are friends with Cassie's mom came to her and finally told her that she came from a bloodline of witches. In denial of that fact, Cassie didn't want to be involve with anything about it until Adam showed her what she's capable of doing. She then realized everything was real when she found her mother's book of shadows full of spells and a letter from her. Her mother told her why she didn't tell Cassie before to keep her away from danger. When the circle came to its time to get bound, dangerous and dark events came one after the other as each one of them are an inch close to getting hurt and even death.
